Welcome to the
McCarter Elementary Library
We raised over $1,000 in change in ONE WEEK in our first annual Penny Wars competition! Thanks to everyone who saved their pennies (and silver coins) and brought them to school for Penny Wars. Thanks to you, all teachers were able to buy new books for their classroom libraries, Scholastic donated $1,000 worth of books to needy children, and our Book Fair made an extra $1,000 this year which means more new books for the library!
Reading Challenges: 2013
The winners of the $15 Barnes and Noble gift certificates for completing our annual McCarter Library Reading Challenge were 1st grader Neveah R. and 4th grader Ivan C. Congratulations to both winners!
